BPL Enclosure Engineering, a Bennett & Pless Inc company, is seeking a Senior Building Enclosure Consultant for Detroit, MI. This full-time role focuses on delivering reliable enclosure solutions and leading key client engagements.

You will mentor staff, review technical work, and contribute to budgets and proposals for diverse projects. The position emphasizes growth, collaboration, and innovation within a team that values lifelong learning and client trust.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
10+ years of experience in building enclosure design and/or construction-related work.

Responsibilities

Act as a senior client manager for key clients.
Grow the business through business development activities.
Review the work of other staff for technical accuracy and business suitability.
Mentor and train staff on technical and business issues.
Prepare budgets and proposals for building enclosure services across various projects.
Review project documents for technical accuracy and suitability.
Evaluate existing buildings to identify enclosure problems and design proper repairs.
Prepare reports summarizing methodologies, observations, conclusions and recommendations.
Attend design phase and construction meetings to provide technical expertise.
Conduct walk-through observations of enclosure construction for compliance with documents and standards.
