Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on Roku.
• Strong proficiency in BrightScript, SceneGraph, and Roku SDK.
• Experience working with streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and media players.
• Solid understanding of OTT architecture, RESTful APIs, and DRM integration.
• Knowledge of video analytics, advertising integrations (RAF), and QA/debugging tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Roku streaming applications using BrightScript and SceneGraph.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to deliver advanced streaming features.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and playback quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments.
• Stay up to date with the latest Roku SDK updates, tools, and best practices.
