Paramount+ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Roku platform to build and ship the Paramount+ Roku app used by millions of viewers. You’ll operate within constraints of memory budgets, single-threaded render loop, and wide device variance, delivering reliable features end-to-end.

You’ll own components from design to deployment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor peers while continuously improving performance and stability across the streaming stack.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years building Roku applications.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of BrightScript and SceneGraph (RSG 1.3).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and data serialization.
• Experience with Git and GitHub and unit/integration testing on Roku.
• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate coding.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain core Roku framework components and features.
• Architect around Roku memory limits and performance tiers.
• Use debugging tools to identify and fix performance issues.
• Implement real-time personalization and engagement features for Roku.
• Write documentation for components and patterns.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and testing infrastructure.
• Design and run A/B tests and act on results.
• Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to ship features.
