Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Robotics Full Stack Software Engineer to join an innovative robotics startup focused on transforming the automotive service industry. You'll work across the stack with Go, Python, TypeScript, React, APIs, and real-time telemetry to connect robots, operators, and cloud systems.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will mentor engineers, influence architecture, and help ship reliable software deployed in the field.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong full stack development across front-end and back-end systems.
Experience in robotics company or robotics-focused environment.
Proficiency with Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
Production front-end apps using React or similar framework.
APIs design, software architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with robotics analytics, telemetry, and real-time dashboards.
Messaging/streaming systems (queues, pub/sub, WebSockets).
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software across the robotics tech stack.
Build front-end apps for fleet monitoring, mission planning, and teleoperation.
Develop back-end services, APIs, and tooling connecting robots, operators, and cloud.
Implement behavior trees/logic for robot autonomy and test-driven development.
Develop data pipelines and tooling for debugging robot behaviors.
Establish CI/CD, monitoring, and observability standards.
Mentor engineers and influence engineering practices.
