Job summary

Andromeda Surgical is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build the software systems powering our robotic platform. This hands-on role focuses on designing, building, testing, and deploying production software, collaborating with robotics, controls, hardware, and ML teams.

You will own projects from concept through deployment, write clean C++ and Python, and help create reliable, scalable software that supports cutting-edge surgical robotics applications.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing production software in C++ and/or Python.
• Ability to write maintainable, modular, and production-quality code.
• Experience designing software that can be extended and maintained by a team.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
• Experience writing tests and validating software behavior. Testing and software quality are musts.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
