Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking an R&D Senior Software Engineer to develop architectures for scalable robotics software, from autonomy to hardware interfaces. You will mentor peers and drive SOPs to improve engineering effectiveness while delivering production-ready code in live environments.

You will lead teams with expertise in ROS, Linux development, and C++/Python, shaping how systems perform in real-world deployments across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and implementing production software systems.
• Experience with Agile development and SOPs.
• Expert in Linux environment and C/C++/Python.
• Experience with ROS and robotics hardware like LiDAR, cameras, motors, encoders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ROS-based C++ and Python codebases on Linux.
• Create software designs and lead design/code reviews.
• Own key development areas and participate in release approvals.
