Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Sr. Robotics Systems Engineer to own manual testing and drive automation in a North Reading, MA environment.

You will build high-fidelity test benches, validate robot software and mechatronics, and lead root-cause investigations across hardware and software domains. Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
Experience in QA or Systems Engineering in mixed hardware-software domains (robotics, UAVs, or automotive).
Demonstrated experience defining and executing manual testing for physical systems and transitioning to automation.
Strong scripting skills in Python and ROS/ROS 2 ecosystem.
Ability to analyze logs and telemetry for deep-dive root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to understand and capture customer test cases for release validation.
Collate and report quality metrics from software, hardware, and systems teams.
Own manual testing for new features and edge cases in physical environments.
Define and guide automation, specifying what to automate and how.
Create warehouse workflow emulation scenarios for high-density logistics tests.
Build test benches and environments for mixed hardware-software testing.
Perform deep-dive investigations into system-level failures using logs and telemetry.
