Job summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support testing of advanced robotics fulfillment and automation systems in an in-house test environment. This hands-on role involves manual testing with robotics hardware, collaborating closely with hardware engineers, developers, and other QA professionals to ensure product quality prior to production deployment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in QA, strong documentation skills, and experience creating and executing test plans and cases.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA, systems testing, hardware testing, or related experience.
• Hands-on manual testing with physical systems or equipment.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test plans.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting defects.
• Understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes.
• Experience with QA tools like JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute manual test plans and test cases for complex robotics and automation systems

• Validate bug fixes, firmware updates, new hardware, and system changes
• Document test results and maintain accurate testing documentation
• Participate in design reviews, scoping discussions, sprint meetings, and team stand-ups
• Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to coordinate test coverage and share findings
• Recommend improvements to testing processes and approaches

I’m hiring on behalf of a client, a global leader in robotics, automation, and e-commerce technology, seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the testing of advanced robotic fulfillment and automation systems.

This is a hands‑on, primarily manual testing role working directly with robotics hardware and physical systems in an in‑house test environment. The QA Engineer will partner closely with hardware engineers, developers, and other QA professionals to test new functionality, validate system changes, troubleshoot defects, and ensure product quality prior to production deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to conveyor, sortation, ASRS, fulfillment, or other automated systems
• Experience with firmware testing
• Familiarity with safety or compliance testing
• Python or other scripting experience is a plus but is not required
