Job summary

Alert Venture Foundry (AVF) seeks a Senior SQA & Test Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test frameworks for robotic platforms, from motion control to cloud dashboards. You will build simulation-based environments and implement HIL/SIL pipelines, working closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to validate system performance in real and simulated environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in QA/SQA or test automation for robotics or complex physical systems.
• Strong Python scripting and data tooling experience.
• Hands-on testing for motion, sensors, embedded devices or mechatronics.
• Experience with Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Webots, or Unity-based simulators.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Collaboration with hardware and firmware teams; thorough test coverage.
• Experience testing web dashboards with Playwright/Selenium and API tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve automated test frameworks for robotic platforms.
• Develop simulation-based testing environments (HIL/SIL).
• Implement HIL and SIL test pipelines.
• Create automated tests for motion control, sensors, and communications.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD workflows for scalable validation.
• Define unit, integration, and system validation strategies.
• Develop internal tools for data capture, telemetry, and debugging.
