Job summary

Teradyne seeks a Robotics Software Engineer for Integrated System Test in North Reading, MA. Design and extend software for a large test system, and collaborate with global teams to diagnose complex issues, using C++, C#, Python, and robotics APIs.

The role requires strong OO design, distributed/multithreaded apps, and knowledge of robotics controls and safety standards. On-site work with moderate travel within the US and SE Asia will be expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of software development experience in C++, C#, Python or similar.
• Experience with distributed and multi-threaded applications.
• Strong object-oriented design skills and robotics software knowledge.
• Familiarity with robot arms, safety standards and APIs across robotics
• WPF, TCP/IP and database programming experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and extend software for a large test system with multiple software layers.
• Develop operating software for capital equipment and information systems.
• Collaborate with global engineers to diagnose complex system problems.
• Work primarily on-site in North Reading, MA with moderate travel.
