Dexmate Inc. is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Fremont, CA to lead new product introduction for robot subsystems and final assembly.

You will turn prototypes into production-ready hardware, drive DFM/DFA, and partner with mechanical, electrical, test, and supply chain teams to ensure robust manufacturing readiness. You will own manufacturing processes, pilot runs, tooling, and documentation, while maintaining traceability and aligned configurations.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, NPI, or hardware industrialization in robotics or related electromechanical fields.
• Ownership of a product or major assembly from prototype through pilot builds to repeatable production.
• Proven DFM/DFA impact improving yield, cost, or lead time.
• Experience with CNC machining, casting, sheet metal, molding, and finishing processes.

Mansioni

• Lead manufacturing readiness for robot subsystems and final assembly through design reviews, pilot production, and handoff.
• Drive DFM/DFA reviews for structures, actuators, and integrated electromechanical systems; optimize geometry, tolerances, and assembly access.
• Select and qualify manufacturing processes with suppliers balancing performance, quality, cost, lead time, and volume.
• Define assembly process flows, BOMs, routings, and work instructions aligned with engineering designs.
• Plan and lead engineering and pilot builds; coordinate materials, tooling, documentation, inspection, and technician readiness.
• Develop fixtures, tooling, and assembly processes for precise alignment, fastening, and harness integration.
• Collaborate with test/firmware teams to incorporate calibration and end-of-line checks into manufacturing.
• Address first-article discrepancies, assembly failures, and yield issues via root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead manufacturing readiness reviews with cross-functional teams; manage revisions, material disposition, and build documentation.
• Complete production handoff with validated processes and traceable build records; support ramp to meet yield, time and cost targets.
