Job summary

Sereact in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the development of Vision-Language-Action models for robotic manipulation and navigation, bridging cutting-edge research with real-world deployment.

You will work closely with Core Robotics and Hardware teams to integrate AI into physical platforms, publish at top conferences, and drive data strategies and real-time model optimization. This role sits in a fast-growing embodied AI environment in Boston.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in CS/ML/Robotics with a focus on DL/CV.
• Significant publications in top conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ICRA, CoRL).
• Experience in leading AI research environments and collaboration with hardware.
• Strong proficiency with PyTorch or JAX, Transformers, diffusion models, and LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale VLA models and foundation architectures for robotic manipulation and navigation.
• Develop strategies for multi-modal data collection, synthetic data generation, and fine-tuning of large models.
• Optimize model inference for real-time robotic applications while preserving reasoning capabilities.
• Publish high-impact papers at top-tier conferences and collaborate with core robotics teams to deploy AI on physical platforms.
