Tennant Company is seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer - Machine Integration Lead in the United States. You will guide machine-level integration, coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts, and drive robust, cost-effective robotic cleaning solutions with partner technologies.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into design specs, planning validations, and managing prototype events. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in complex electromechanical products and robotics related NPD

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, robotics, systems or computer engineering.
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience with complex software-driven electromechanical products.
• Experience with autonomous mobile robots or complex products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan cross-functional technical workstreams and develop a practical work breakdown structure.
• Translate customer and regulatory needs into system requirements and specifications.
• Define interfaces across mechanical, electrical, controls, embedded software, and partner systems.
• Lead technical reviews addressing requirements, risks, and readiness for prototype/production builds.
• Coordinate prototype builds, bench tests, and integration events to mature designs.
