Job summary

BoolSi, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff-level robotics engineer to identify compute-bound workloads on robotics platforms and drive benchmarks. You will work with embedded ARM/Linux systems, profiling latency and power, and guide what workloads to accelerate with BoolSi technology.

The role emphasizes hands-on bench work, ROS 2 demos on Kria hardware, and direct customer interaction. You will lead field proofs of concept, build reference demos, and help shape the roadmap while traveling for

Qualifications

• 8+ years of staff-level experience in robotics or embedded software on physical robots.
• Strong C/C++ on embedded Linux with profiling and real-time reasoning.
• Proven ability to separate technically interesting problems from commercially important ones.
• Hands-on bench competence: wiring, sensor integration and maintaining a running platform.
• Excellent communication: talks, teaching, writing, or customer-facing engineering.
• Working ROS 2 fluency for demos; production experience on non-ROS stacks counts.

Responsibilities

• Define workloads to pursue in robotics compute budgets and drive benchmarking.
• Lead field demos and proofs of concept with customers and partners.
• Build reference demos on ROS 2 robots and Koala Kria hardware integration.
• Contribute to product roadmap by translating learnings into workload choices.
