Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years designing industrial control panels or electrical systems for automated equipment.
• Experience with ECAD tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).
• Experience with PLCs, industrial sensors, and motor drives.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
• Familiarity with NEC and UL 508A for industrial control panels and NFPA79 for industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Design industrial control panels using ECAD tools and select components to meet system requirements.
• Research, evaluate, and select sensors, actuators, motors, and other components for automation integration.
• Perform system-level electrical design and integration with mechanical/software subsystems.
• Create wiring harness designs and electrical documentation including schematics and BOMs for prototypes and production.
• Build, assemble, and test prototype wiring harnesses and control panels; perform electrical validation and assist field deployment.
