CADREX Manufacturing Solutions in Bloomingdale, IL, is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator II to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot robotic welding cells on first shift. You will load parts, inspect welds, adjust parameters, and document results.

The role requires reading blueprints, following instructions, and collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering. Candidates should have basic welding knowledge, solid attention to detail, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, or similar industrial environment.
• Experience performing basic inspections and measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable work history and dependable attendance.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee robotic welding cells, ensuring parts are loaded, cycled, and unloaded properly.
• Perform inspections of welds using visual methods and measurement tools to verify quality against specifications.
• Adjust welding parameters and perform basic programming adjustments as needed to maintain weld quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, changing consumables, and verifying fixture alignment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Document production and inspection data accurately.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Provide guidance and training to Robotic Weld Operator I personnel as needed.
