Job summary

OSARO seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to own end-to-end system performance across deployments, collaborating with Hardware, Infrastructure, and ML teams to deliver production-grade solutions in complex environments.

The role requires ownership, cross-team design of cell/system flow, and coordination with SW/HW to align workflows; travel for deployments is expected but time is limited when not in deployment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in robotic control development with control frameworks, trajectory optimization, kinematics, and motion planning.
• Expertise in Rust or C++ with real-time, multi-process systems design.
• Hands-on experience with industrial robotic arms and low-level hardware controllers.
• Deep knowledge of robotic system design, integration, debugging, verification, and testing in real-time environments.
• Experience with sensor integration and real-time data processing (cameras, force sensors, grippers).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation deployment layers across our systems.
• Own end-to-end system behavior and performance.
• Bridge the gap between solution, engineering and customer success regarding system behavior and performance.
• Be accountable and collaborate with the deployment team when commissioning OSARO cells.
