Job summary

Intuitive is a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care. Senior Systems Analysts will generate, tune, and debug the key algorithms for the Ion Endoluminal System, collaborating with robotics and software teams to advance control and infrastructure.

You will apply control theory to complex mechatronic systems, bring up testbeds, and validate models through experiments, driving product improvements and robust design.

Qualifications

• Completion or current enrollment in a Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics degree-seeking program at the Doctorate level.
• Masters-level graduates also be considered based on specific relevant experience.
• Experience integrating hardware and software in complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Apply control theory to design and verify mechatronic and robotic systems.
• Bring-up distributed electro-mechanical systems for experimentation.
• Validate and iterate on simulated dynamic models through targeted tests.
• Design software algorithms and tools to support new products.
