Qualifications

• Five to fifteen years of highway/roadway design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or able to obtain within six months.
• Familiarity with NHDOT design standards.
• Drainage design experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Bentley CONNECT Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to lead small design groups.

Responsibilities

• Produce roadway and transportation designs for new and rehab projects.
• Attend client meetings, contribute to proposals and presentations, manage tasks and projects.
• Coordinate with design team members and stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced engineers in plan production and estimates.
• Handle project engineering tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and progress across multiple tasks.
• Support local marketing, proposals, and municipal meetings.

This position offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support project delivery for a diverse range of transportation clients. The successful candidate will contribute to roadway design, project engineering, client coordination, and the development of less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Produce roadway and transportation designs for new and rehabilitation roadway projects.
• Attend client project meetings, participate in proposals and presentations, manage project tasks and projects, and meet with regulatory agencies.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with other members of the design team.
• Manage, train, and mentor less experienced engineers in the production of plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Perform project engineering responsibilities related to project communication, scheduling, budget, and progress across multiple concurrent tasks.
• Assist with local marketing efforts, including proposal preparation, professional chapter meetings, and municipal functions and meetings.

• Five to fifteen years of relevant highway, interchange, and roadway design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
• Familiarity with New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) design standards.
• Drainage design experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Bentley CONNECT Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage small design groups and projects.
