Job summary

GFT in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Manager, Roadway to lead our Transportation Team on major roadway projects. You will oversee design-build and conventional roadway delivery, mentor staff, and collaborate with discipline leads to ensure quality and on-time performance.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years in heavy transportation design and project management, and a Florida PE license. Hybrid work, strong client relationships, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida is required.
10+ years of design and project management delivery experience on heavy transportation infrastructure projects.
Experience delivering road/highway projects per FDOT standards, including design-build.

Responsibilities

Maintain close working relationships with discipline leads, department heads, and other project managers.
Oversee engineering design and delivery on conventional and design-build roadway projects.
Ensure high technical quality across projects.
Identify new opportunities and assist in proposals and client oversight.
Mentor project staff and participate in hiring and performance reviews.
