Job summary

Egis is seeking a Sr. Roadway Project Manager for our Tewksbury, MA office to lead transportation projects for MassDOT, RIDOT and local agencies. You will guide design, budgets, client relations, and team coordination across disciplines.

The role requires 15+ years in roadway design and project management, a MA PE license, and strong writing/communication skills. The position emphasizes growth, collaboration, and delivering impactful infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required or equivalent
• 15+ years of roadway design and project management experience
• Professional Engineer license in Massachusetts
• Experience with client management and marketing to MA transportation clients
• Strong technical writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation engineering projects for MassDOT, RIDOT, VTrans, local governments, and other clients.
• Direct or perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Coordinate plan development, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Develop client relationships and foster existing and new business opportunities.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff; coordinate with sub-consultants and reviewers.
• Oversee project budgets, scope, fees, and profitability; support proposals and contracts.
