Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Roadway Project Manager to join our team in Columbia or Charleston, South Carolina. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in design and management of roadway improvement projects, with SC PE registration preferred.

You will manage roadway design projects for SCDOT and local clients, while advancing your skills and career growth. The position primarily resides in an office environment with some field work and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering required.
• At least 10 years of roadway design/management experience.
• Active South Carolina PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design projects as Project Manager.
• Coordinate with design teams, subconsultants and vendors to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with key clients and lead SOQ/proposal efforts.
• Enhance QA/QC processes and promote cost-effective project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff in roadway design and CAD practices.
