Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Senior Roadway Project Manager for the Carolinas to lead complex roadway projects in North Carolina. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and drive client relationships with transportation clients across the state.

The role requires 12+ years in transportation project management, a PE in NC or ability to obtain, and strong proposal and communication skills; travel within NC is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• PE license in North Carolina or ability to obtain within six months.
• 12+ years of experience managing transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NCDOT, municipal agencies, counties, MPOs/RPOs, and other clients.
• Willingness to travel occasionally throughout North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of roadway projects from concept through construction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and financial performance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and resources to meet objectives.
• Develop work plans, staffing, fees, and schedules.
• Oversee compliance with standards and quality controls.
• Mentor team members and support business development efforts.
