Job summary

Egis is seeking a Sr. Roadway Project Manager for our Tewksbury, MA office. You will lead transportation projects for public and private clients, manage budgets, coordinate plans, and mentor staff.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of roadway design and PM experience, a MA PE license, and strong client development and written communication skills. This role offers growth within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of roadway design and project management experience.
• Professional engineering license in Massachusetts.
• Experience analyzing project progress against budgets, quality, scope, and reporting.
• Experience in business development and client management for MA transportation clients.
• Ability to lead project pursuits and develop proposals (written, presentations, interviews).
• Advanced technical writing and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Project management of transportation engineering projects for MassDOT, RIDOT, VTrans, local governments, and other clients.
• Direct, review and/or perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Direct and coordinate plan development, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Responsible for client development and fostering relationships with existing and new clients.
• Participate on a team of professionals to ensure high-quality service.
• Manage project budgets, scope, fees, and prepare proposals and contracts.
• Oversee project progression, client billing, and profitability.
• Provide mentorship and development opportunities to staff.
