Job summary

Egis is seeking a Sr. Roadway Project Manager for our Tewksbury, MA office. You will lead transportation engineering projects, coordinate design efforts, and mentor staff, ensuring quality deliverables for MassDOT and other clients.

The role requires extensive roadway design and project management experience, strong communication, and business development capabilities to grow client relationships and project opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of roadway design and project management experience.
• Professional engineering license in Massachusetts.
• Experience in business development, client management, and marketing to Massachusetts transportation clients.
• Ability to lead project pursuits with the marketing team (proposals, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation engineering projects for MassDOT, RIDOT, VTrans, and local governments.
• Direct or review engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Coordinate plan development, specs, reports, and cost estimates.
• Develop client relationships and foster new business opportunities.
• Oversee project budgets, scope, fees, proposals, and contracts; manage profitability.
