Job summary

At AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Roadway Engineer II to join the Roadway Practice in Denver, CO, supporting delivery of Highway and Roadway projects. You will plan, design, produce drawings, and supervise drafting tasks as needed.

The role requires 8+ years of engineering experience with highway/roadway design, strong interpersonal skills, and Colorado PE. MicroStation and OpenRoad Designer proficiency is expected; Open Road Designer is required.

Qualifications

• BS and/or MS in Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Colorado PE required; additional state PE licensure recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs planning, design, and production of engineering drawings; may supervise drawing production.
• Conducts engineering investigations and data analysis using established procedures.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance and assists in updating reports and progress records.
• Performs field observations and construction-related data collection.
• Prepares materials for reports and permit applications; performs engineering calculations.
