Job summary

WSP USA in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer to serve as the Civil TEC Lead for the Texas-Louisiana Region. You will mentor staff, oversee design of roadways, and manage projects from planning through construction across Louisiana.

You will work with engineers, project managers, and clients to expand WSP's Louisiana footprint, lead marketing efforts, and deliver high-quality solutions while meeting schedule and budget targets.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years of roadway/highway design experience
• 5+ years leading and mentoring civil engineering teams
• Strong experience with State/local governments and transportation agencies
• Professional Engineer License (Louisiana)
• Experience with marketing, business development and proposals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, mentoring, and overall management of the Louisiana Civil Team.
• Lead growth and development of the Louisiana Civil team, interfacing with Local Business Leaders and clients.
• Perform marketing and business development activities, including client intelligence and proposals.
• Lead production of project plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Interface with multiple disciplines to support diverse projects and assist in agency coordination.
