Consor is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer / Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on roadway and highway projects throughout Arizona. Based in Phoenix or Tucson, AZ, this hybrid role focuses on mentoring staff and growing the transportation practice.

The position offers a projected compensation range of $130,000 - $170,000 annually, with flexibility for experienced candidates. Office attendance is required on Monday–Wednesday, with remote work possible on Thursday and Friday.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of roadway and transportation engineering experience.
• Experience delivering projects for ADOT, counties, or municipalities.
• Knowledge of AASHTO and ADOT design standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Lead roadway design for highways, arterials, interchanges, corridors, and multimodal facilities.
• Oversee preparation of plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor engineers and designers.
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
• Participate in proposals, project pursuits, and business development efforts.
