Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer (PE) to support roadway, highway, and multimodal transportation projects for ADOT, counties, and municipalities across Arizona. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with office days Monday–Wednesday and remote options Thursday–Friday.

You will develop roadway alignments, prepare plans and reports, perform design calculations, and coordinate with drainage, traffic, structures, survey, and utility teams throughout planning to construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of roadway or transportation engineering experience.
• Experience with DOT, county, or municipal transportation projects.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and/or AutoCAD.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadway alignments, profiles, typical sections, and cross-sections.
• Prepare plans, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Perform engineering analyses and roadway design calculations.
• Coordinate with drainage, traffic, structures, survey, and utility teams.
• Support project delivery from planning through final design and construction support.
• Contribute to quality reviews and compliance with ADOT and local agency standards.
