Job summary
Consor is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer / Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on roadway and highway projects across Arizona, including Phoenix and Tucson. This hybrid role blends office and field work and offers significant opportunities to mentor staff and grow the transportation practice.
The position requires 10+ years of roadway experience, ADOT/municipal project delivery, and proficiency with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of roadway and transportation engineering experience.
- Experience delivering projects for ADOT, counties, or municipalities.
- Knowledge of AASHTO and ADOT design standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and PE license.
Responsibilities
- Lead roadway design for highways, arterials, interchanges, corridors, and multimodal facilities.
- Oversee preparation of plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
- Mentor engineers and designers.
- Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
- Participate in proposals, project pursuits, and business development efforts.
