DGL Consulting Engineers, LLC in Fishers, IN is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to enhance our Roadway Department. You will act as Project Manager or lead design engineer on multiple transportation projects, delivering designs in accordance with DOT and local standards.

Required: 8–15 years in civil design engineering, ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering, and PE registration or EI with intent to obtain PE within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.

Responsabilités

• Act as Project Manager and/or lead design engineer on projects.
• Deliver multiple tasks for various engineering leads while meeting deadlines and budget.
• Design tasks include pavement design, horizontal/vertical design, drainage and BMP design.
• Prepare construction plans, design detailing, estimates, and reports.
• Assist with oversight of entry level engineers and task budgeting.
• Participate in client meetings, RFIs, and proposal development.
• Coordinate with roadway department head on progress, schedule and budget.
• Track deliverables, client reviews, and comment resolution.
• Communicate scope with engineers and align project requirements.
• Apply DOT and local agency design standards and CAD requirements.
• Attend industry events and related marketing activities.
