Job summary

Mohave County Public Works-Roads Division is seeking a Road Maintenance Worker Senior in Beaver Dam, AZ. The position features a four 10-hour shift schedule and requires travel within Mohave County, with occasional overtime and callouts.

The starting salary range is $22.61–$27.81 per hour. Duties include pothole repair, crack sealing, and operation of heavy equipment, such as backhoes and loaders, in outdoor road maintenance work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of actual operating experience with heavy equipment used for road maintenance/repair.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform pothole repair, crack sealing, chip sealing, shoulder maintenance and dirt road grading.
• Operate and service heavy equipment for road maintenance and repair tasks.
• Assist with traffic control and safety procedures on work sites.
