Job summary

Mohave County Public Works in Meadview is seeking an entry-level Road Maintenance Worker to operate light to medium equipment and maintain county roads. On-the-job training is provided; as you qualify, there may be opportunities to work with heavier equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License within six months from hire date.
• Willingness to operate light to medium equipment and perform road maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair potholes and patch damaged pavement areas.
• Maintain road shoulders for safety.
• Support construction-related road work.
• Seal cracks and apply chip seal to miles of roadway annually.
