Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (mandatory).
• 5+ years of experience managing road infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in MS Project, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan all construction operations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality control.
• Prepare subcontractor agreements and manage sub-contractors.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Prepare RFIs as needed and process pay applications.
• Review and approve invoices from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Locate and research public bid opportunities for suitable projects.
• Interpret drawings and documents to prepare estimates.
• Complete bid takeoffs for materials, equipment and labor.
• Perform unit price cost analysis.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain and update price databases for construction materials.
• Coordinate bid proposal packages and prepare estimate summaries.
• Attend bid openings and verify scopes of work.
