Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PhD) required.
• PharmD and/or MD may be considered where applicable.
• Masters with 3+ years of relevant experience or Bachelors with 5+ years.
• Strong background in RNA chemistry and nucleic acid therapeutics.
• Hands-on experience with in vitro transcription and RNA purification.
• Experience with analytical characterization of RNA molecules.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-throughput strategies for modular assembly of mRNA elements.
• Develop mRNA platform technologies including capping and nucleotide modifications.
• Lead efforts to improve RNA quality, purity, stability and activity.
• Develop purification strategies for mRNA including FPLC methods.
• Use analytical methods (HPLC, FPLC, LC-MS, gel/capillary electrophoresis) for characterization.
• Assess impact of sequence, structure and modifications on performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in biology, delivery, formulation, and process development.
• Document work and communicate findings in reports, presentations and publications.
• Contribute to scalable workflows for RNA therapeutic platform advancement.
