Job summary

State of Idaho Division of Veterans Services is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse Senior at the State Veterans Home in Post Falls. The role offers 12-hour shifts, with night differential and flexibility for 1–2 shifts per week, supporting veterans with clinical leadership and care coordination.

The RN will conduct assessments, coordinate interdisciplinary care, administer medications, and lead nursing staff, ensuring high-quality veteran care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Idaho or Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Experience performing nursing assessments and developing care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and monitors resident health problems and care related issues.
• Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure all care needs are met.
• Administers medications and treatments per provider orders.
• Assigns, directs and evaluates LPN and CNA staff on assigned shift.
• Work may include clinical training sessions for agency staff and liaison with other health agencies.
• Serving as administrative charge nurse for the facility.
