Job summary

Walter Reed Post Acute is hiring an RN Unit Manager in Virginia. This full-time role offers $40-$45/hour with daily pay available. You will oversee nursing operations on the unit and ensure resident-centered care in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications include Virginia RN license, BLS, at least five years nursing experience and two years supervisory experience. Marquis Health Consulting Services supports this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Virginia.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations on the unit.
• Coordinate resident care for high-quality outcomes.
• Ensure timely incident reporting and follow-up with Nursing leadership.
• Participate in facility committees as directed by the DON.
• Assist in developing and evaluating policies and procedures.
