The RN Unit Manager position at Life Care Centers of America involves supervising and coordinating patient care on the unit, directing daily nursing operations, and ensuring compliance with all laws and Life Care standards.

Minimum requirements include a nursing diploma (associate or bachelor), an active RN license, CPR certification, and preferably at least one year of geriatric nursing experience; strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Competenze

Nursing diploma (associate or bachelor) and active RN license.
CPR certification required for hire and ongoing.
1 year geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Mansioni

Direct the daily functions of unit nurses and CNAs to provide leadership on the floor.
Chart appropriately, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care and services.
Accurately prepare and administer medication as ordered by a physician.
Respond in a leadership capacity to emergency situations related to patient and staff safety.
Coordinate patient care plans and services.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Assist in evacuation of patients.
Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
