Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New York is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead nursing services on the floor. The role focuses on planning, directing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining high-quality resident care.

Candidates must have a nursing degree, current CPR, and experience in long-term care with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must meet state licensing or certification requirements with no disciplinary action.

Responsabilités

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and facility policies.
• Reviews complaints and grievances by staff and reports to the Director of Nursing as required.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies on the unit and notifies appropriate personnel of needs.
• Assists in developing written assessments of residents' nursing needs.
• Makes nursing/aide assignments as indicated.
• Encourages staff participation in external training programs.
