Job summary

Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead nursing services on the floor and ensure regulatory compliance. You will manage staffing, assessments, and assignments for residents, while maintaining stock of medications and supplies.

The role requires a nursing degree, CPR certification, and supervisor experience in geriatric care. A strong emphasis on quality care, staff development, and adherence to policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings.
• Minimum one year of nursing supervisor experience, preferably in a nursing home setting.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must meet state licensure requirements and have no disciplinary action on license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and facility policies.
• Reviews staff complaints and grievances and reports to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Maintains adequate medication, supplies and equipment on the unit.
• Assists in assessments of nursing needs for residents.
• Makes nursing/aide assignments as indicated.
• Encourages staff to attend outside training programs and scheduling.
