Job summary

Banner Health Corporate in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Senior RN Clinical Stroke Program Manager to lead a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role provides broad oversight of stroke care, improves quality initiatives, and partners with leaders to ensure adherence to accreditation standards.

The position is a full‑time role with Monday–Friday scheduling and 3×10‑hour shifts per week, offering comprehensive Banner Health benefits and opportunities to advance patient outcomes through advanced technology

Qualifications

Current, valid RN license in the state of practice or compact license.
BLS certification required.
5 years of clinical experience in the area of specialty.
Excellent leadership and cross‑department interaction skills.
Strong program management capabilities for broad clinical oversight.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a comprehensive stroke program that meets regulatory standards.
Oversees quality improvements and monitors care patterns against protocols.
Collaborates with other departments on program issues and practices.
Respects and implements Joint Commission and AHA/ASA standards of care.
Represents the department in leadership meetings and coordinates facility‑level committees.
Assesses staff training needs and implements competence programs.
Participates in Joint Commission preparations and disease‑specific care certification efforts.
Develops and oversees community education and stroke support programs.
