Job summary

Riverside Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team. The RN provides direct patient care, develops and monitors care plans, and collaborates with interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure residents receive high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Illinois.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per individualized care plans and in scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments and document activities accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs and other professionals to develop care plans.
• Maintain accurate resident records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and safety.
• Educate residents and families about health management and preventive care.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow established protocols.
• Assist scheduling and coordination to ensure adequate staffing.
