Qualifications

• Ob-gyn or L&D experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day patient care including staffing, workflow, equipment and supplies.
• Promotes care management and quality initiatives; monitors care delivery and takes corrective action when needed.
• Maintains knowledge of policies, procedures and safety standards; ensures infection control and compliance.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; prioritizes patient needs.
• Provides triage and consultation per protocol and guidelines.
• Assists with exams and procedures, administers medications under orders; supports patient education and referrals.
