Job summary

Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead day-to-day patient care, staffing and workflow in a fast-paced environment. You will promote quality initiatives, ensure policy compliance, and apply the nursing process to assess and manage patient needs.

The role requires strong communication, leadership and organizational skills, with emphasis on patient safety, infection control, and collaboration with the care team. Prior ob/gyn or L&D experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and RN licensure.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience with precepting and resource roles.
• Ob-Gyn or L&D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day patient care including staffing, workflow, equipment and supplies.
• Promotes care management and quality initiatives; monitors delivery and corrects issues.
• Maintains knowledge of policies, procedures, and infection control; ensures compliance.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Provides triage and consultation to patients and families per guidelines.
