Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a registered nurse for Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center to provide safe, competent nursing care and professional leadership in a fast-paced acute care setting. The nurse will support the healthcare team and uphold patient-centered care principles across services.

Requirements include Nevada RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/NRP as required by department; BSN preferred and at least one year of acute care experience. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent.
• One year acute care experience.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification (Adult patients).
• PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
