Job summary

Community Choice Financial is seeking a Sr. Risk Systems Developer to advance the credit risk strategy and optimize the decision engine platform. You will design and implement underwriting strategies, score models, and automation to reduce manual tasks.

Join a remote role with a collaborative team, contribute to robust risk analytics, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and support deployment and testing across APIs and DE components.

Qualifications

• Degree in mathematics, economics, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in software development or risk systems.
• Experience with Blaze, Powercurve, GDSLink or Provenir preferred.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with REST/SOAP and JSON/XML data structures.
• MS Office, especially Excel; strong JavaScript development.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit risk underwriting processes via system tools.
• Conduct unit tests of changes to the decision engine via API and platform.
• Translate underwriting strategies into technical designs with cross-functional teams.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for the DE platform.
• Perform peer code reviews within the Risk development team.
