Job summary

Attain Finance, a leading consumer credit lender in the United States and Canada, seeks a Credit Risk Manager to design and implement credit risk strategies across multiple loan products. You will serve as the subject matter expert on risk decisioning, partnering with operations, product, finance, and compliance teams.

The role offers a base salary of $120,000-$160,000 USD, a comprehensive benefits package, and a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

BS or higher in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, mathematics, finance, etc.) or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional credit risk analytics experience in financial services.
Advanced experience with SQL, Snowflake, or relational databases.
Working knowledge of Python, R, or similar tools.
Experience with Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, or other visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and refine credit risk strategies to reduce defaults and improve revenue across loan products.
Conduct granular portfolio analysis using bureau, cash flow, and internal data to identify trends and drivers.
Forecast financial impact of risk strategies on key metrics like losses and receivables.
Support regulatory materials, audits, and board reporting.
Ensure policy compliance and proper risk documentation.
