Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Risk Specialist in the CRA Strategy & Program Management area within the Global Enterprise Affairs (GEA) organization. The role focuses on governance, risk management, and regulatory data quality to support outstanding CRA performance across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will oversee regulatory data workflows, enforce security controls, and collaborate across business units to drive remediation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Military experience.
• At least 1 years of Technical Risk Management or Audit experience.
• Proficient in Google Products and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for governance, risk management, and compliance control processes.
• Deliver strategic risk advisory services and oversight for technology-related operations.
• Cultivate and sustain key stakeholder partnerships to foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify, monitor, and manage risk events and issues to safeguard the organization.
• Maintain operational oversight to verify that controls function and align with policies.
• Conduct evaluations of control designs and drive continuous control optimization.
• Collaborate with technology partners to enhance efficiency and automation.
