Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Risk Associate to join the Global Payment Network Data Governance team. You will help ensure high-quality data, adheres to policies, and supports data-driven decision making across the data lifecycle.

You will collaborate with AEs, PDSs, and tech teams to drive risk oversight, data integrity, and process improvements, enabling the business to manage risk effectively. This role offers exposure to a major data governance program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Military experience.
• 3+ years of Risk Management, Data Management, or Financial Services experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience leading cross-functional Risk or Data initiatives.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CDMP, or PMP preferred.
