Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead the enterprise risk program across heavy civil, industrial, mechanical, fabrication and marine construction operations. This hands-on role protects employees, projects, equipment, assets, and financial interests, collaborating with operations, finance, legal and insurance partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, claims, or related discipline.
• Experience with construction, industrial, energy, manufacturing, or marine operations preferred.
• Experience managing workers' compensation and general liability programs.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, indemnification, and risk transfer.
• Experience with group captive insurance programs is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve enterprise risk management program.
• Identify and evaluate operational, project, financial, environmental, and other risks.
• Partner with leaders to identify exposures early and mitigate risks.
• Oversee workers' compensation and general liability programs and claims.
• Coordinate captive meetings, underwriting discussions, and renewals.
• Review insurance requirements and contractual risk-transfer provisions.
